Data protection at a glance.
We take the protection of your personal data seriously and process it confidentially, in accordance with statutory data-protection regulations and this policy.
Where this website is used, personal data is collected only on a voluntary basis wherever possible. This data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent.
Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) can have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Server log files.
The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in server log files that your browser transmits to us:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- Hostname of the accessing device
- Time of the server request
This data cannot be attributed to specific individuals. It is not merged with other data sources. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) in the secure and stable operation of the website. Logs are retained only for as long as necessary for security purposes and then deleted.
Cookies.
This site uses cookies only where technically necessary to provide the website. We use no third-party analytics, no advertising tags and no tracking cookies.
You can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and to allow cookies only in individual cases, to exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or generally, and to enable the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. Contact requests.
If you contact us by email, the details you provide are stored so that we can process your enquiry and respond to follow-up questions.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (steps prior to entering into a contract) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in answering enquiries). We reply, then archive. We never sell, share, or train models on your message. Data is deleted once it is no longer required and there are no statutory retention obligations to the contrary.
Protor & Indago.
Our products are local-first by design. The website and the products are separate from a data-protection standpoint.
- Protor (the data engine) processes your data on infrastructure you control. Vectorio has no access to customer payloads unless you explicitly enable a support tunnel.
- Indago runs entirely on your device. The corpus you index never leaves your machine. Any telemetry is opt-in and aggregate-only.
Your rights under GDPR.
You have the right, free of charge, to information about your stored personal data, its origin and recipients, and the purpose of the processing.
- Access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection (Art. 21).
- Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time with effect for the future.
